In West Dunbartonshire, Scotland Susan and Archie Thompson own a four inch tall and three oz dog called Tom Thumb. Tom Thumb might set a new world record for being the smallest dog. His mother is a Chihuahua named Spice. His father is a Jack Russell named Oosie.

Pirongia Clydesdales

On Sunday I went to a cafe called Pirongia Clydesdales. There were horses everywhere.

When I arrived at the cafe I couldn't wait to see all the horses. The owner introduced herself. She told me I could pat a little dark brown pony covered in mud and dirt. After, the lady showed two racehorses. They had long skinny boney legs. After watching them nibble on some grass for a few seconds, we walked across the gravel driveway. Through the metal gate I saw two identical horses. "These two are twins. " said the owner. The gate next to the twins belonged to a cheeky chestnut. It was adorable.

My mum let me get a hot chocolate. While my mum order my hot chocolate, I followed my Popa to where some people were tacking up a horse called Angel. The ladies tacking up Angel offered me a ride. I said yes and ran back to tell my mum.

Noel got on Angel and I sat behind her. Angel started walking down the path to the arena. When we got to the arena Angel started trotting. It was almost as fast as a Clydesdale cantering. After one lap of trotting I got off. I thanked Noel and finished my hot chocolate. I gave the pony one last pat and went home. What an awesome experience.

My ANZAC poem

Anzac day
In the trenches dark and dusty,
All the guns are going rusty
All the soldiers are dying,
More and more planes are flying

Just remember they sacrificed their lives for us.
